Having played instruments since the age of five, Jakob Lindhagen is an award-winning composer, music producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Most at home in, but also no stranger to pushing the boundaries for neoclassical, ambient and experimental music, his work has streamed in the millions, appeared on radio stations like BBC and KEXP as well as on tv-stations across Europe. Seamlessly moving between film scoring, solo work and various collaborations, his film works include Norwegian drama "My Wonderful Stranger" (2024), with the music nominated at the prestigious "Music & Cinema Marseille", the Palme d'Or-nominated shorts "Who Talks" and "Push It", as well as Swedish Academy-awarded feature doc "Skörheten".
2017 saw the release of his solo debut "Paces"with 1631 Recordings/ Decca Publishing, which he followed with 2022’s Memory Constructions, a concept album exploring unreliable memories, via piano and coffee records. Both appeared on several “Best Albums Of The Year”-lists on platforms like Headphone Commute and Stationary Travels. In 2024 he debuted on Icelandic/American inprint I N N I with the ambitious audio-visual work Stages Of Change.
