Perpetual Bike Crash is an Amsterdam-based trio bringing together Francisco Garrido, Micheal Murray, and Joshua Lutz, hailing from Venezuela, Ireland, and Germany respectively. Having found common ground in the Netherlands, the three musicians have spent the last three years crafting music that bridges indie, ambient, electronic, and cinematic influences into a seamless, organic whole.

At the heart of their work is a strong visual sensibility, shaped in part by Francisco's upbringing in a family of photographers. This connection to narrative and imagery flows through their debut album The Inside of an Airplane Engine, recorded across three sessions in Joshua's home studio, then deconstructed and reimagined by Francisco in post-production using Ableton. The result is a work that feels both raw and refined, alive with the immediacy of live performance and the depth of careful studio craft.

Released in January 2025, The Inside of an Airplane Engine marked an important step forward for the trio, cementing their place in Amsterdam's music scene—built through performances at Bimhuis, Splendor, and Stadsklooster—and introducing their sound to a wider audience. The album is available on all major streaming platforms and as a limited-edition CD, featuring artwork by graphic designer Celia Bayo.
